Jalandhar 14 September (Jaswinder Azad)- Innokids of Innocent Hearts (G.M.T., Loharan and C.J.R.) celebrated “Hindi Day” with great enthusiasm. A poetry recitation competition was organised for the little ones. The students presented poems in hindi. The teachers explained in the classes that Hindi is our National Language and is a very sweetly spoken language. In a specially arranged assembly, the students of KG II sang a song on the importance of hindi, “Sabki sakhi ye pyari hindi, jaise ho mathe ki bindi.” Innokids Incharge Ms. Gurmeet Kaur(G.M.T.), Alka Arora(Loharan) and Nitika Kapoor(C.J.R.) explained that the main purpose behind these activities is to inculcate the spirit of patriotism for the country, culture and language. The importance of the national language was explained to the children. In Loharan branch, Snehal Goyal of KG I A, Samrat Wasan of KG I B and Purvi Batra of KG I C secured the first position. In G.M.T. Branch, Jasleen Kaur and Vihaan Narang of KG I A, Pawan Chopra and Pankhudi Chhabra of KG I B, Sakshi and Pihu Abrol of KG I C, Anshdeep of KG I D stood first while in C.J.R., Kushagr Gupta and Bhanu Sharma of KG I A, Sneha Jain and Himank of KG I B got the first position. The winners were felicitated with certificates.
