Jalandhar 7 September (Jaswinder Azad)- Post Graduate Dept of Econimics of Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar organized an interactive workshop on alternatives to conventional saving tools. Mr. Vikas Bhargav (Ex.State Training Manager, SBI Life), Trainer and Financial Consultant, Design cube, Ludhiana was the resource person on this occasion. He in his discourse highlighted the role of saving habbits and financial planning early in age. He also discussed in detail the alternative tools of saving which can significantly affect the standard of living of people after their retirement. 60 students of M.A (Eco), M.Com, B.Sc (Eco), and B.Voc (Retail Management) participated in this workshop.The Principal of K.M.V Prof. Atima Sharma dwivedi extended her gratitude towards the resourse person and congratulated the faculity of Dept of Economics for the successful organization of the event.
