Jalandhar 17 October (Jaswinder Azad)- Innocent Hearts- Green Model Town, Jalandhar, Loharan and Cantt. Jandiala Road celebrated Diwali - a festival of lights with splendour. The students promised to celebrate Eco- friendly Diwali in order to have pollution free environment. The students presented a choreography filled with a message for the society. The dear ones were looking adorable in colourful attires. During special assembly importance of Deepawali was explained to the kids. The children of KG II made beautiful rangolis with their choicest colors. Innokids Incharge – Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur – G.M.T., Mrs. Alka Arora –Loharan , Mrs. Neetika Kapoor - Cantt. Jandiala Road explained the meaning of Green Diwali to the young ones. The blooming buds promised the teachers to Say “No” to crackers and recited poems in the classes. The Director Principal Mr. Dheeraj Banati addressed the students in the assembly and emphasized to celebrate Green and Clean and Noise Free Diwali.
