Jalandhar 2 November (Gurkirat Singh)- An impressive Musical Night Program was held in the Boys Hostel of Lyallpur Khalsa College which was presided over by Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra. The program started with the recitation of Shabad by Rajwinder Singh, Gurkirat Singh and Manjinder Singh. Hostel students from Nepal, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar and Haryana colourfully depicted their respective cultures on the stage and the items presented by Nepalese and Kashmiri students added a unique flavour into the proceedings. Ramandeep, finalist of Singing Reality Show 'Awaaz Punjab Di', also presented a song as a tribute to famous Punjabi Folk Singer Lal Chand Yamla Jatt. This program put together by the efforts of Head of the Music Department, Prof. Sukhdev Singh was witnessed by various Department Heads of the college. College Registrar Prof. Jasreen Kaur and Dr. Suman Chopra Head, Department of History also shared their views from the stage. Hostel Warden Rajinder Kumar welcomed the Guests while the stage was managed by Dr. Karanbir Singh.
