Jalandhar 2 November (Gurkirat Singh)- Students of Apeejay college of Fine Arts, Jalandhar made an exemplary place in the hearts of audience by performing wholeheartedly at Inter-Zonal Youth Festival of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. The talent of the students created a milestone for them as on the first day of Inter zonal Youth festival, Apeejayites won first position in 8 Items and second position in three items. The enthusiasm of the college reached peak on second day by grabbing first position in 11 items and on the third day, students brought laurels to the college by exhibiting their talent in One Act Play, General Dance, Folk Orchestra, Western Group Song, Classical Instrumental (Non- Percussion), Classical Vocal and Quiz and students won 1st position in 22 items, 2nd position in 4 items and 3rd position in 1 item. Principal Dr, Sucharita Sharma applauded the participating students for brightening the name of the college with their talent and artistic skills. She said Youth Festival provides a platform to all the artistic students for exhibiting their talent and boosts up their confidence to excel in any field.
