Jalandhar 13 November (Jaswinder Azad)- The Library Club of Apeejay college of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized a book review of the book “Mahabharata” written by a famous writer Shashi Tharoor. 10 students have participated in this book review. In this first round of this book review process, the students wrote their reviews and afterwards in second round, the discussion took place. This Indian novel is based on the story of Mahabharata, the epic of Hindu Mythology, in which the figures from Indian History have been transformed into characters from mythology. It shows the true colours of Indian political structure and politicians in a satirical manner. Principal Dr. Sucharita Sharma said that Library club has been formed with a vision to inculcate students with reading habits which seems to be disappeared these days. She added that reading helps the students to become more creative which ultimately results in boosting their morale. In this book review Harshita Thakur, Gurmannat, Stuti, Urwashi Arora, Karan Bahri participated with great enthusiasm.
