Jalandhar 3 November (Jaswinder Azad)- Kids of INNOKIDS (G.M.T. , Loharan and Cantt. - Jandiala Road) – the pre- primary wing of Innocent Hearts School celebrated Guruparv to mark the Prakash Utsav of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji , while apprising children of its significance. Students came dressed in traditional attire. The tiny tots of KG II headed to the Gurdwara to pay obeisance along with their teachers. The students did Jaap of “WaheGuru - Waheguru.” The importance and meaning of “Naam Japo, Vund Chako Te Kirat Karo” was explained to the kids. Students were taught that Guru Granth Sahib is a secular holy book and preached all to rise above petty differences and weaknesses. Incharge INNOKIDS- Mrs. Gurmeet Kaur- G.M.T., Mrs. Alka Arora-Loharan and Mrs. Neetika Kapoor- C.J.R. motivated the students to follow the principles of Guru Granth Sahib in order to replace the darkness of negativity with the light of knowledge. These activities connect the children with their culture. The Director Principal School – Mr. Dheeraj Banati congratulated the students on the occasion of birthday of shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and told them to live together happily.
