Jalandhar 4 January (Gurkirat Singh)- The New Year signifies that the time has arrived to bid farewell to the by-gone year and to welcome the New Year. Ramgarhia Institute of Engineering & Technology, Phagwara and Ramgarhia Institute of Mgt & Advanced Studies, Phagwara collaborated to celebrate the memories of 2017 and welcomed 2018 with new aspirations. Management of RGI Mrs. Manpreet Kaur Bhogal, Chairperson and Dr. Vyoma Bhogal Dhatt, Director welcomed 2018 by Cake cutting ceremony and wished all the staff very best for this upcoming year.
REC Management added another feather to the crown by Inaugurating “Language Planet- An Institute of Linguistics Skills” which is offering course like IELTS, French Learning ( Level A1 and Level A2) , Spoken English, English Grammar and American Accent, during the New Year celebration and also Launched Year -2018 Dairy of RIET.
The high voltage music doled out by a mixed bunch of RIET and RIMAS Faculty was a special attraction of the day. Over 30 faculty members put the stage on fire with their ramp walk. The foot-tapping music along with the excitement and high spirits of the Staff members made the party unbridled and exuberant. The title of Miss 2018 went to Ms. Sonpreet Kaur (HOD-T&P) and Mr. 2018- Er. Lovedeep Singh(HOD- IT) followed by Miss Charming- Mrs. Niveta Arora (HOD- Applied Sci.) and Mr. Dashing- Mr. Jaspreet Singh (AP- Applied Sci). Ms. Gaganpreet Kaur (AP- Applied Sci) and Mr. Davinder ( ECE Dept) Backed Best Model Title. All the staff participated and enjoyed Musical Chair Game, Mrs. Monika Sharma (AP- MBA) and Er. Manit Kapoor (HOD-ECE) became the winner while enjoying the music.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal Dr. Naveen Dhillon showed gratitude to the management for always supporting the initiatives taken by staff for the betterment of education system. He also motivated the staff members to give their best in upcoming years and wishes everyone a blissful new year.
