Jalandhar 6 February (Jaswinder Azad)- A practical training Session and Guest Lecture was organized by the Botany and Zoology Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar wherein Dr. Parvinder Kaur Veterinary Officer participated as the Chief Resource Person. College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra and Dr. Jaswinder Kaur, Head Zoology Department welcomed the Resource Person with a bouquet of flowers. Dr. Parvinder Kaur informed the students about Parasitology, Malaria, Animal Blood samples and other related concepts. She also shed valuable light on the various infections in the human-animal contact and their prevention methods. Speaking on the occasion, College Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra emphasized the need for practical knowledge in addition to the knowledge given by books and other textual sources. He encouraged the students to participate in such programs on priority basis. A question-answer session was also conducted on the occasion. Stage was managed by Dr. Upma Arora. The occasion was also witnessed by Dr. Jaswinder Kaur, Head Zoology Department, Dr. Gagandeep Kaur, Prof. Arunjit Kaur, Dr. Dharamveer, Prof. Gurjinder Kaur, Prof. Devika and Prof. Kanika.
