Jalandhar 7 February (Jaswinder Azad)- “Cooking Without fire” Competition was organised at DIPS Gilzian. It was a class wise activity for classes I- X. Students made very tempting dishes without using fire. The activity exhibited their great innovation and creativity. Blooming Chefs made various innovative dishes like Coconut ladoos, Behlpuri, Tangy Chaat ,Choco Cake, Milk Shake , Fresh Juice etc. Activity divided into four groups . The Judgment was done by Mr Jaswinder Singh and Ms.Mandeep Kaur on the basis of taste ,health, nutrition value and presentation. In the activity Group I- (Class I-III)- Class II got the first position, Group II- (Class IV-VI)- Class VI got the first position, Group III- (Class VII-VIII)- Class VII got the first position, Group IV- (Class IX-X)- Class IX got the first position. The activity was organised by activity in-charge Ms.Gayatri under the observation of Principal mam Ms.Rekha Nayyar. In the end Principal Ms. Rekha Nayyar appreciated the teachers and students for their efforts and encouraged them to do their best in future as well. She also guided the students to eat healthy and nutritious dishes so that they could become sound citizens. Chairman of DIPS Institutions S. Gurbachan Singh also sent his best wishes to the students.
