Jalandhar 24 February (Gurkirat Singh)- Innocent Hearts College of Education, Jalandhar organized Annual Sports Meet on February 24, 2018 in order to develop the student’s mental agility and team spirit among student-teachers. Mrs. Aradhana Bowry, Executive Director Colleges, Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust was the Chief-Guest of the day. The inauguration was done with the flag hoisting ceremony followed by floral welcome.The student-teachers actively participated in the main events that were 100 mt race, three legged race, skipping race, lemon spoon race, obstacle race,sack race, shot-put andlong jump. The Chief Guest bestowed the medals and prizes to the winners and appreciated the efforts of the student-teachers. Principal Dr.Arjinder Singh congratulated the winners and expected the would-be-teachers to organize such activities in their schools during their teaching profession for the physical development of the students.
