CT students celebrate Holi with dry colors & flowers

Jalandhar 1 March (Jaswinder Azad)- Students of CT Group of Institutions celebrated the festival of colors with great fervor. On this occasion, the international students from different countries like Zambia, Malawi and other African countries and from North East celebrated Holi with dry colors. One of the international students named Eugene Kapato said, “I am playing this festival for the first time in my life. It’s so much of fun. Using of dry colors and applying on each other is a different style of celebrating here in India.”
The students of CT Public School, Maqsudan celebrated Holi with flowers.  Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi, Co-Chairperson CT Group, played Holi with the students and told them about the significance of this festival which was the victory of good over evil, the arrival of spring and end of winter. It was also a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships. She advised the children about the harmful effects of synthetic /chemical colors and said that they should play Holi with natural colors. Playing with flowers was a novel way to celebrate this festive occasion. She congratulated and blessed everyone on this occasion.
