- Tanzanian student honored for bagging 9th position in PSBTE & IT Exam
Jalandhar 29 March (Gurkirat Singh)- A colorful and memorable event named Young Springs 2018 was organized by CT Polytechnic College at CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur. The essence of the event was honoring the State Board toppers who held the merit positions in PSBTE and IT exams of batch 2015 and 2016. Eighteen consistent performers gave their best and bagged thirty seven merit positions in total. It was happiest moment for the teachers and for parents of students. Dr. Vaneet Thakur, Vice Principal CTIEMT, Mr. Amandeep Singh Sembhey, Dean Students Affairs and Mr. Amandeep Aujla, Head (DOA) also graced the occasion with their presence. There were different events like Creative Writing, Mehandi, Rangoli, Poster Making, Solo Dance, Solo Singing, Group Dance, Theatre and Mono Acting etc. in which students participated. The cultural event provided a platform to the students to show their hidden talents. The brilliant meritorious students received the award of appreciation from Vice Chairman Mr. Harpreet Singh, Director Campus Dr. GS Kalra along with Principals and HOD’s. Their proud parents also accompanied them. Dr. Kalra shared his words of wisdom with the audience and motivated young buds to flourish and shine like a star. The key attraction was honoring an international student from Tanzania named Lucas Gerald who is pursuing MLT 4th Semester and have bagged 9th position in the first semester and 6th position in second semester in Punjab State Board of Technical Education and Industrial Training Exam. Mr. Sansar Chand, Principal CTPC presented the vote of thanks to the management for their kind assistance and appreciated CTPC Team members and students for their tireless endeavors. He also announced that this event with same name would be organized every year in the month of March. Mr. Harpreet Singh, Vice-Chairman, CT Group congratulated the students for their outstanding performances.
