OS Society Jalandhar Chapter organised a friendly match at Harbhajan Singh Institute of Cricket

Jalandhar 31 March (Jaswinder Azad)- Old Sanawarian Society of 5000 Alumnis of The Lawrence School Sanawar, launched their Jalandhar Chapter of the  Old Sanawarian Society and organised a friendly match between Punjab XI and Chandigarh old Sanawarian. Punjab OS XI won the toss and elected to bat. The team scored 206 runs in 20 overs while opponent team Chandigarh OS XI only managed to score 182 runs in 20 overs. The top scorer of the match includes Mahir Sidhu 60 runs and Lovekirat Chahal knockdown 3 wickets. The match consisted of 20 overs where Punjab OS XI gave target of 206 runs to Chandigarh OS XI. The event was organised by Jalandhar Chapter of the  Old Sanawarian Society.
President OS society, Retired Justice Sh. Rajive Bhalla said this match is organised for the reunion of all Sanawarians. He further added that many such chapters are being launched with the motive of helping the society and school to get all sanawarians together.
Mr Vinay Pandey, Headmaster, Lawrence School of Sanawar, said the idea behind organizing this match is to regroup sanawarians and to connect with old students. Mr. Pandey congratulated the winners and performers of the tournament. He also thanked the participating teams for their remarkable performances at the event.
