3rd CONVOCATION HELD AT TRINITY COLLEGE JALANDHAR

Jalandhar 28 April (Jaswinder Azad)- Trinity College is an esteemed charitable  Institution of northern India which is located in Guru Gobind Singh avenue. This college is working for the students who came from financial weak backgrounds from inside and outside Punjab and supporting them in their higher studies without any discrimination. Motto of the college is “Towards Higher Realms of life” which guides students to go and live extra ordinary life and handle the social responsibility enthusiastically. Each and every student of the college is motivated to set their goal and put best efforts to achieve them. Special way to depart education , Value education classes , transparency in exams and their evaluation , various types of scholarships , and overall development of the students etc ,these features make our college different from rest of the educational institutions.
On this occasion  Sh. Navjot Singh Sidhu, Minister of Local Government, Cultural Affairs, Tourism and Museums of Punjab and Most excellency Dr. Franco Mulakkal Ji Bishop of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh gave their presence as chief guest. In spite of them Fr Peter Asst. Director of the college , Officiating Principal Ajay Prashar, Rev Fr Johnson, Rev Fr Jibin, Sh. Santokh Singh Choudhary ,S. Pargat Singh (MLA) , Sh. Sushil Rinku (MLA)  , Sh. Rajinder Beri (MLA), Mayor of Jalandhar Sh. Jagdish Raj Raja and Sh. Parveen Kumar Sinha, Commissioner of Police  gave their presence on the occasion.
Afternoon at 1pm, convocation programme was started with Prayer song and lightning of lamp. Prof Nidhi Sharma, Coordinator of the event welcomed the  gathering by her speech. On this occasion 200 students were conferred with degrees. Officiating Principal of the college presented annual report of the college. Sh. Navjot Singh Sidhu, Minister of Local Government, Cultural Affairs, Tourism and Museums of Punjab shared his views with his speech and inspired the students to move forward in life with positive energy and achieve everything with dedication and hardwork.  On this Occasion, the winners of Blooming Buds- a state level competition  were honoured. Rev. Dr. Franco Mulakkal Bishop ji addressed  the gathering with his speech.  Co-Ordinator of the convocation Asst. Prof. Nidhi Sharma  ,  Prof. Baljit Kaur , Prof.Puja Gaba , Prof. Jessy Julian  , Prof. Ashok Kumar , Prof. Navdeep Singh , Prof. Daljit Kaur, Prof Inderpreet , Prof Pratibha  Jyoti, Prof Megha and with the co-operation of whole Trinity staff this programme was conducted. Prof. Jessy Julian gave Vote of thanks to the students. Prof. Samriti and Prof. Manveet presented their stage handling duty pretty well. The occasion was ended up with the sweet memories and by reciting National anthem.
