Students of Fashion Design show their collection at “The Runway”
Jalandhar 10 April (Jaswinder Azad)- To enhance the creativity and imagination in the field of fashion, the Department of Fashion Design, CTIHM organized “The Runway” - a Fashion Show by budding designer students at CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur. Young designers participated enthusiastically in the show with the themes like Masquerade Sunrays, Greeko Mordore, Denblue Gloss Floss etc. It was a glamorous event which boosted the visibility of fashion and promotion of brands associated with apparel industry. The event provided platform & opportunity to the models to showcase their talent, boosting their confidence.
Judges namely Mr. Sidharth Kakkar, a renowned designer, Mr. Gaggun Bedi, Choreographer and Ms Seep Taneja, Model & Actor appreciated the efforts and talent of the participating students and wished them for their future endeavors. Designer students were awarded with The Best Collection, The Best Conceptual Wear, The Best Designer and The Best Thematic Wear.
Ms. Gurpreet Kaur, COD, Fashion Design said “It was a big platform for the budding designer students of CT Group to expose their hidden creativity through the designs that they made in their final semester.”
Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions appreciated the efforts put in by the Fashion Design students and motivated them as such events gives practical exposure to the students.
Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi, Co-Chairperson, CT Group, Mr. Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman, Ms. Seerat Singh and Ms. Tanika Singh graced the occasion with their presence.
