CTITR organizes two-day National Conference on Current Trends in Engineering, Management & IT

Jalandhar 7 April (Jaswinder Azad)- Moving forward in its pursuit towards becoming a center of excellence in the field of technology and research, a two day National Conference was organized at CT Institute of Technology and Research (CTITR), Maqsudan. The conference was inaugurated by distinguished keynote speakers Dr. P.K Tulsi, Professor, NITTTR, Chandigarh and Dr. Amod Kumar, Chief Scientist CSIR, Chandigarh, S. Charnjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group, Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director, CT Group, Mr. Harpreet Singh, Vice Chairman, Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Campus Director, Er. Anurag Sharma, Vice-Principal. Conference was attended by over 200 delegates from industry, institutions and researchers.
In this conference, call for paper was also issued along with the notification of the conference and overwhelming response was received in the form of research papers. More than 150 papers were received and after careful scrutiny and careful review by the experts of the review committee, 97 findings of their respective domains of knowledge were selected for the inclusion in the proceedings of the conference.
Dr.P.K Tulsi, Professor, NITTTR, Chandigarh and Dr. Amod Kumar, Chief Scientist CSIR, Chandigarh spoke about the issues and challenges present in the field of technology and recent trends in education. While addressing, in the inaugural session of the conference, Campus Director, Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, expressed her sincere thanks to the Keynote Speakers and other distinguished speakers of this conference. Dr. Dhami expressed her confidence that various parallel sessions shall witness high class deliberations and shall open the new direction of research to the participants. After inaugural session, parallel sessions on relevant themes were organized in which contributors from different organizations participated and presented their research papers.
Presenters and delegates of different fields were duly rewarded with certificates and mementos in the valedictory function.
Mr. Anurag Sharma thanked the guests and his team for their successful constructive inputs. He also acknowledged the great support and co-operation of all the delegates and participants for their support, participation and contributions in making this conference a success.
S. Charanjit S Channi, Chairman, CT Group appreciated the initiative taken by the department by organizing this national level conference and said that such conferences gives a wonderful opportunity to the researchers by doing intense research on the topics and explore new findings and learning’s.
