Economics students created history, MA Economics (semester third) students bagged 7 out of top 9 university positions for DAV College, Jalandhar

Jalandhar 13 April (Gurkirat Singh)- Yesterday, at DAV College, it seemed as if there was any celebration when the college's results created a new history. Students of MA Economics (semester third) bagged seven out of top nine university positions. This is an unprecedented record in itself. The same college has named seven places out of first nine positions. The whole college is feeling very happy about this magnificent achievement. Dr. Suresh Khurana said, it was our priority to create interest in the economics subject and to develop interest in students ,for which we did not compromise education of students, we even had classes on sunday. For two days in a week for children, we got free class education under Indian Economics Service, this has increased interest in economics of the students, clarity of topic concepts increased and that is why we have seen such a result. Principal of DAV College, Prof. Dr. S.K. Arora, giving best wishes, said, "I am proud of all of you. The Economics Department is the best, visionary, creative and intellectual department and I congratulate all the students, teachers and their families on this wonderful achievement. Our college has always been providing a studious environment to the students. Dedicated and diligent students have always been getting all the help from college and they will continue to get ahead." Principal Arora further added, "today's day is a golden day for DAV College's Academics." Principal Dr. SK Arora, Vice Principal TD Saini, Vice Principal VK Sareen congratulated Head of Economics Department Dr Suresh khurana, Dr. Sanjeev Dhawan, Prof. Naveen Sood, Prof. Deepali, Prof. Monica, Prof Seema, Prof. Sudha Arora, Prof. SJ Talwar and other staff members.
