"Ekjot Singh" achieved first position in the university
Jalandhar 19 April (Jaswinder Azad)- PGDFC students of DAV College, Jalandhar have established a new dimension by getting 2 positions out of first four positions in GNDU. The college, along with Commerce Department, is also feeling very happy about this great achievement. Ekjot Singh secured 231 marks out of 350 and got first position in the university, Raghav Rai won fourth position with 225 marks.
Principal of DAV College, Dr. S.K. Arora, giving best wishes to both students said, "I am proud of you. The Commerce Department is a good, visionary, creative and intellectual department and I would like to congratulate all the students, teachers and their families on this wonderful achievement. Our college has always been providing a studious environment to the students. Dedicated and diligent students have always been getting all the help of college and they will continue to get ahead."
Students were also happy looking at their great achievement. Ekjot Singh of PGDFC said that he is very happy about his achievement and wants to begin with his " startup " by becoming an entrepreneur. His mantra is 'Whatever comes to mind, one should do it immediately, because there is no tomorrow for an entrepreneur.'
Vice Principal of College and Head of Commerce Department Prof. V.K. Sareen congratulated students and teachers for great results. He said that it is a matter of pride for us that not just B.Com, BBA and M. Com but our results are also getting better in PGDFC. It reflects the hard work of our teachers and students. I am proud of my entire department and we will continue to bring similar results in future too.
