New job-oriented skill enhancing courses are introduced namely BA Journalism and Mass Communication, Bachelors in Animation and Multimedia, B.Sc. in Agriculture at CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan campus and Diploma in Food and Production at CT Group of Institutions, Shahpur campus. Providing information on the same, S. Charanjit S Channi, Chairman CT Group of Institutions said, “We are glad to announce that we’re introducing four new courses this time. In Maqsudan campus, the most highly demanded courses of BA Journalism and Multimedia, both three years duration for all streams, are starting along with Agriculture, a four year degree program. The scope of these three courses is too wide. Everything is online and on social media. Media plays a vital role and multimedia follows the same lines. Hence, it’s a great opportunity for budding journalists and multimedia professionals to get enrolled for these courses. Whereas, there are plenty of government as well as private sector jobs available for B.Sc. Agriculture graduates. They can be appointed as Research Officer, Quality Assurance Officer, Agriculture Officer, Agriculture Loan Officer (in Banks), Production Manager, Operations Manager and Farm Manager with State agriculture departments.” On Diploma in Food and Production course, he added, “This 1.5 year program is focused on imparting culinary skills, hygiene and sanitation, larder, food science and nutrition. The primary focus of this diploma is imparting hands on culinary skills and creating professional chef. The diploma holders can have an opportunity to get entry level positions in Hotels / Restaurants / Fast Food Chains/Railway catering.”
