CT young minds learn dining etiquettes
Jalandhar 21 May (Jaswinder Azad)- “Good dining manners are just a way of showing other people that we have respect for food”. Keeping the same in mind, CT Institute of Hotel Management organized a one day workshop on ‘Dining Etiquettes’ in which 150 students from CT Public School and CT World School were taught about different dinning etiquettes that should be followed while eating food through a meal eating session. In this workshop, the students were made to eat soup, pasta, rice along with curry and dessert using different cutlery and crockery.
Students were also taught about how to use napkins, cutlery and basic etiquettes like sitting posture while eating etc. The workshop was very informative as the students were taught the basic rules of dining and learn the skills to apply the same in social dining situations.
Dr. Bharat Kapoor, Director CTIHM told the students to follow these dining etiquettes while having their regular meals at home or school.
Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director CT Group of Institutions said that such workshops are very important for the young students as these reflect our overall personalities.
