HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organized ‘Pratibha Khoj-2018’ Talent Hunt Show

Jalandhar 21 May (Jaswinder Azad)- HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School organized Talent Hunt Show ‘Pratibha Khoj-2018’ to enhance and amplify the talent and skills of young and energetic students.  The special guest of the occasion was Mrs. Alka, Head of Commerce Department, Govt. Girls Sr.Sec.School, Nehru Garden.  Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen, School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal, Dean Outreach Programmes Mrs. Veena Arora, Dean Youth Welfare Mrs. Navroop Kaur and HOD Dance Dr. Pooja Minhas welcomed her.  DAV Gaan was recited in the auditorium.  In her address, Principal Dr. Sareen spoke about unique qualities and abilities that every child possess.  She also insisted upon acknowledging the hidden potential of students by providing various opportunities to them that can help them to groom their personalities.  She said that girls of HMV have outshined in every sphere at National and International level.  She also advised the students to lay stress on dedication and discipline to polish their talent.  Various activities like Choreography, Declamation, Skit, Mimicry, Folk Dance, Poetical Recitation, Rangoli, Flower arrangement were held for the students.  Poetical Recitation and Declamation was judged by Mrs. Ritu Bajaj and Dr. Nidhi Bal.  Kriti got first prize in Poetical Recitation.  In Declamation, Kritika got first prize, Aastha got second and Kritagyta and Vaishnavi got third prize.  In Rangoli and Flower arrangement competition, judges were Mrs. Neety Sood and Miss Shama Sharma.  In Rangoli, Muktansha and Aman got first prize, Kamy and Sameeksha got second prize and Himani and Ladi got third prize.  In Fresh flower arrangement, Pranika and Amrita got prize.  In Dance, Skit and Choreography, judges were Mrs. Navroop Kaur, Mrs. Veena Arora and Dr. Pooja Minhas.  ‘Diva Sensation Team’ got first prize.  In Giddha, F-17 team got first prize and Rajasthani dance got special prize.  Stage was conducted by Dr. Anjana Bhatia, Jaspreet Kaur and Virender.  School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal thanked all the guests.
