Jalandhar 12 May (Jaswinder Azad)- HMV Collegiate Sr. Sec. School celebrated Mother’s Day under the able guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. On this occasion, the Youth Red Cross Society organized Poetry Writing and Card Making competitions. In these competitions, the students of +1 and +2 participated enthusiastically. The students wrote self composed poems and showed their love and respect for Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen. Principal Dr. Sareen blessed the students and motivated them to be proud of being a woman and work for upliftment of women in the society. She also congratulated School Coordinator Mrs. Meenakshi Sayal, Incharge Youth Red Cross Society Mrs. Deepshikha and Medical Officer Dr. Aarti for organizing an innovative and emotional programme. In Poetry Writing competition, Geetanjali stood first and Kritika stood second. In Card Making competition, Meenal stood first, Alisha stood second and Simran stood third. Aman and Isha got consolation prize. The judges of the event were Miss Shama Sharma, Dr. Anjana Bhatia and Dr. Nidhi Bal.
