Jalandhar 23 May (Jaswinder Azad)- In order to study socio- cultural and linguistic development in Punjabi language, Lyallpur Khalsa college Jalandhar has established Punjabi Language Development Center. This information was given by the principal of the college Dr G.S. Samra in a press release today. He informed that the newly formed centre would work to explore the different development in Punjabi language and also to promote and preserve it. He also informed that Dr Sukhdev Singh Nagra of the college Punjabi department would be the coordinator of the centre. Speaking on the occasion he said that the college had already been running five research centres to promote research in diverse areas besides individual research activities of the faculty members.
