Jalandhar 19 May (Jaswinder Azad)- The Music department of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya organized two days Music Workshop in Swar Sadhna Hall. The resource person of the workshop was renowned personality in the field of music, Sh. B.S. Narang. In this workshop, around 40 students of Music department participated. Sh. Narang specially emphasized on those Raags which are a part of curriculum of students. He mesmerized the students by presenting one Raag in various forms. In addition to classical music, he also presented various forms of semi-classical music like Bhajan, Geet, Ghazal and Tappe. Principal Prof. Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen honoured him and encouraged the Music department for organizing such workshops in future also. On this occasion, HOD Music Vocal Dr. Prem Sagar, HOD Music Instl. Dr. Santosh Khanna, Mrs. Aruna Walia, Kanwalpreet Kaur, Khushboo Grover, Dr. Kuldeep Sandhu, Parduman, Amarjit Singh, Jasmail Singh, Inderjit Singh and Gaganjeet Singh were also present.
