CT Public School marks World Environment Day

Jalandhar 5 June (Jaswinder Azad)- CT Public School celebrated World Environment Day with great fervour and gaiety. Various activities such as planting saplings, role plays, skits and discussion on environmental issues were held. The students were made aware of environment and surroundings and were inspired to work collectively for the protection of the earth. Showcasing their commitment towards a greener and cleaner world, the students raised slogans and displayed posters regarding different environmental issues.
Principal of the school, Dr. Suresh Sharma spoke on the importance of the day and said that in order to tackle the problem of pollution and global warming, we have to plant more trees every year. The present scenario seeks the change in our lifestyle. It is the moral duty of every resident of planet earth to make it clean.
