Jalandhar 23 July (Jaswinder Azad)- In this era of cut throat competition, it is of supreme importance to provide opportunities to students to meet challenges of the future. CT Public School therefore lays special emphasis on sports to provide students an edge over others to be a leader in their respective field of activity. In pursuit of the same, the players of four houses, namely Nelson Mandela House, Kalpana Chawla House, APJ Abdul Kalam House and Mother Teresa House, of the school competed in Basket Ball matches against each other.
It was much awaited event by all the participants. This brought out the competitive spirit in all. The spectators cheered on their houses. The atmosphere was electric with the cheers of the students and the enthusiasm of the participants. Kalpana Chawla House emerged triumphant after winning the first position against House APJ Abdul Kamal with 11-6 score, whereas Mother Teresa House stood third and Nelson Mandela House stood fourth in the match.
Managing Director Mr. Manbir Singh and Principal, Dr. Suresh Sharma congratulated all the four houses for an excellent game with good team spirit.
