KMVite Sgt. Vishaka 1st in Military Hospital NCC Attachment Camp

Jalandhar 23 July (Jaswinder Azad)- Promoting co-curricular activates is a routine feature at Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, the Heritage and Autonomous Institution,  Jalandhar which has an active NCC Sub-Unit. Sgt Vishaka a student of B.Sc. Food Science 3rd Semester who is also an NCC Cadets for training in Military Hospital NCC Attachment camp held by Military Hospital. The cadets were trained in First Aid and Imperative issues related to chronic common fatal diseases. They were taught how to take care of the Sick and the infirm. At the end of the training which had a large practical side to it a written & practical test was conducted in which cadets from various institutions attending the training appeared. In the camp Vishaka proved that she had learned the best as she stood 1st in the written and practical exam at the end of the training. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated Vishakha and said that she had done well by supplementing the theoretical learning of the classroom with practical training at Military Hospital. The acquired skill would certainly enhance her employability. She also congratulated the N.C.C. unit on the achievement.
