Jalandhar 17 August (Jaswinder Azad)- KMV-the Autonomous & Heritage Institution pays a tribute to our former Prime Minister Bharat Rattan Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Sharing fond memories about Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s visit to KMV, Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi, Principal averred that Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee visited KMV during Saraswati Pooja Ceremony. A great and erudite scholar, philosopher, exceptional orator, exemplary politician, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the thespian and stalwart of Indian politics. At KMV, he had bestowed benedictions on KMV students and had averred that he was tremendously impressed by KMV-the patriotic and historical institution of India. He averred that “Jalandhar is known because of KMV. If I had a daughter then I would certainly taught her at KMV. He complemented KMV management, Principal and faculty for treasuring the rich historical legacy. He also motivated the students to continue to make endeavours for the progress of this heritage institution. During his visit to KMV he had honoured the meritorious students of KMV by giving medals to them. Expressing gratitude towards KMV the premier institution of women education he wrote, “Very like its glorious past KMV continuing to touch newer horizons and its moving from one success to another.” The Visitor’s Book with his valuable words is much cherished by KMVites and it has been keenly preserved by them. KMV pays a very sad and reverential tribute to the national leader who possessed exemplary qualities of head and heart. KMV is redolent with the fond memories of Bharat Rattan Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
