Jalandhar 24 August (Gurkirat Singh)- More than 350 students participated in the competition. The alumni of the college as well as a famous mimicri artist Mr Jaswant singh was the chief guest. New students got a chance to show their talent in the auditorium of DAV college, Jalandhar in which various activities were performed by students. Participants did their all efforts to impress the judges of the day. Principal Dr. S. K. Arora, Dean EMA Dr. J.R. Garg, Prof Sanjeev Dhawan, PRO Prof Manish Khanna, Prof S. S. Randhawa, Prof Naveen Sood, Prof Naveen Saini, Prof Ekjot Kaur, Prof Komal Soni, Prof Rajan Sharma started the day with lightning up of the lamp. Dr. S. K. Arora gave a warn welcome to all the participants. He said that such competitions enhances the confidence of students and students must take an active part in these. Mr. Jaswant Singh Chief guest of the day lightened up the stage with his performance. He performeed Comedy and mimicri of various artists. He thanked principal Dr. S. K. Arora and Prof J. R. Garg for inviting him. He said that it's an honour for him to be here again. Different judges were there to judge different items. Prof Rajan Sharma and Prof Naveen Kumar were the judges for music. Prof Sukhdev Singh, Prof Ekjot Kaur, Sardar Neetiraj Shergill were the judges for dance and Prof Geetika Jain, Shri Y.D. Malhotra were the judges for fine arts. Principal Dr. S. K. Arora, vice principal prof V. K. Sareen, prof. T. D. Saini , prof. Vipin Jhanjhi, Prof Sonika Dhaniya, Prof S.K. Middha, PRO Prof Manish Khanna, assistant PRO Prof Jyoti Vardhan Mahajan, Prof Sumit Sharma, Prof Rajeshwar Sharma, Prof Bhuwan Lambha with other staff were also present there.
