Jalandhar 11 June (Jaswinder Azad)- Dr Charan Bunger from UK tells to Punjab News Channel that Today is 11 June 2016, the official 90th birthday of Her Majesty the Queen. I am very pleased that at this occasion, Her Majesty has honoured me with the award of MBE [Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire] for my services as Founder / Chairman of the charity ‘GREAT’ [Guru Ravidass Educational Assistance Trust], educating poor and deprived children / young students in India since 2005. This is the biggest surprise of my life and I had never expected this award. However, I share this award with my fellow Trustees, Members especially the Patron Members, Rotary International Clubs, fellow Rotarians and above all those who have been donating generously to support the work of this very successful and most needed charity.
