Jalandhar 11 June (Jaswinder Azad)- Ten girls students of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar have been selected for participation in the University hiking-trekking camp starting from June 12 to 18 at Dalhousie. Giving this information in a press release today, the College Principal Dr. GS Samra said that channelising the energy of the youth in a positive way was more important today than ever as the modern times were psychologically more demanding and challenging than ever before. Chosen fourteen girls students namely Ankita, Priyanka, Richa Sharma, Gitika, Mousami, Navjot Kaur, Jalspreet Kaur, Harninder, Simran Saini, Aashima, Kritika Sodhi, Deepika, Gagandeep Kaur and Reeti for participating in youth welfare camp. Ankita has been selected for the leader of these fourteen students’ group. The occasion was witnessed by the presence of Prof Tarsem Singh, Incharge Centre for Youth Services of the College.
