Jalandhar 25 June (Jaswinder Azad)- At Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage Institution, Jalandhar where presentation of the sanctity of our eco-system has always been a priority, trees were planted by the camp commandant CATC June 2016 and also Co 2Pb (G) BN NCC Jalandhar Col. Atul Shah near the firing range of the college. Trees were also planted by the PI staff and NCC cadets of the unit. Camp commandant Col. Atul Shah observed that preserving greenery was one of the best ways of improving our environment. He said that pure air to breathe was one most essential requirements of survival of life on earth and increasing the no. of trees was the only way to keep the planet green. He also asked the cadets of KMV NCC Unit to adopt nature and look after the fruit bearing trees planted by them and others. Officiating Principal KMV Mrs. Seema Jain and NCC unit Incharge Ms. SeemaArora thanked the Co Col. Atul Shah for his thoughtful and noble gesture.
