The health benefits of these poses were also explained to the audience. The faculty members expressed that practicing yoga leads to an increased feeling of well-being, which helps explain why so many people find yoga so addictive. Many times its benefits are only perceived to be at the body level but yoga helps tremendously in uniting the body, mind and breath.
Dr. Rajesh Bagga, Director, Apeejay Institute of Management Technical Campus expressed that real education means holistic development of students - physical, intellectual, spiritual, mental. He added that a healthy mind lives in a healthy body. The physical well-being of individuals is equally important.
