Jalandhar 24 July (Jaswinder Azad)- At KanyaMahaVidyalaya-the Heritage Institution which is committed to imparting quality education to its students, all are encouraged to participate in state and National Level Competitions. Under the mentorship of Prof. Dr. Atima Sharma Dwivedi every year a number of students participate in National Graduate Physics Examination (NGPE) testing the theoretical and experimental skills in the subject of Physics. Students of B.Sc. I, II and III with Physics as one of their subjects are eligible for the examination. They compete the under graduate students of colleges like Miranda House (Delhi), St. Stephen College (Delhi), Punjab University (Patiala), BHU (Varanasi) etc. and bring laurels everytime.
This academic session eight-students of KMV qualified the prestigious (NGPE) out of which AmbikaKalia (B.Sc. Sem-II) and SimranDhawan B.Sc. Semester VI have been declared state toppers. Principal Prof. Dr. Mrs. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the State toppers and the faculty for their consistent and diligent-efforts. She furthered praised the parents of the students for being pillars of strength in their journey of academic success.
