Jalandhar 26 July (Jaswinder Azad)- The Non teaching employees of the Private colleges of the state will hold full day strike and dharna from 10.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. in their colleges on on 28th July under the banner of Private College Non Teaching Employees Union, Punjab. The said information has been given by Mr. Madan Lal Khullar, State President. He said that the state government is not taking required steps to fulfil their genuine demands like notification of revised grade pay/scales w.e.f. 1st December, 2011, lifting of ban for the recruitment of Non-teaching employees, notification of enhanced Medical Allowance and House Rent Allowance w.e.f. 01/08/2009, implementation of Earned Leave and Leave Encashment to the Non-Teaching Employees of the affiliated college of GNDU, 4:9:14 step-up increment, CCA, Rural Allowance, Pension and Gratuity. On this occasion, Chief Advisor of PCNTEU Punjab Mr. Kulwant Singh, Vice President Mr. Bhupinder Thakur Joint Secretary Mr. Lakhwinder Singh, Co-Convener DAV College Coordination Committe Non Teaching Punjab Mr. Ravi Maini and Office bearers of HMV Unit Raman Behl, Rajiv Bhatia, Rajit Uppal, Manav Rakhra and Ram Singh of DAV College Unit were also present.
