Jalandhar 24 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Apeejay College of Fine Arts’ Department of Applied Arts and Multimedia organized a Digital Design Workshop in association with Wacom India Limited. The renowned digital artist Mayur Gurang was the Resource Person of the Workshop. He acquainted the students with Pen Tablets which are a product of Wacom India. Pen Tablets in digital technology are equivalent to mouse in computer technology and are useful in making logos, digital printing, sculpting etc. This pen works like an electronic pen and is being used in the animation industry, graphic designing and Industrial Design. Regional Sales Manager of Wacom India Mr. Deepak Sikka was also present at the occasion.
Principal Dr. Sucharita commended the efforts of the BFA (Applied Arts) and Multimedia departments for the successful organization of the workshop. She opined that such workshops acquaint the students with the latest technological advancements. Such workshops are a great source of learning in practical courses like BFA and BMM.
