Jalandhar 13 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Innocent Hearts (Green Model Town, Loharan and Cantt. - Jandiala Road) was all set to celebrate this great day. There was celebration in the air and everyone took pride to be an Indian. Everyone on the campus was geared up and enthused for the momentous occasion. The day started with special assembly where the students sang Patriotic songs after seeking the blessings of the Almighty. Our honourable Director Principal of the School – Mr. Dheeraj Banati, the Vice Principal – Mrs. Sharmila Nakra and the Examination Incharge - Mrs. Gurwinder Kaur and in Loharan Innokids Incharge – Mrs. Alka and Senior Wing Incharge- Ms. Shalu Sehgal, and Cantt. Jandiala Road- Ms. Sonali and Ms. Neelu hoisted the National Flag. Everyone saluted it and sang the National Anthem. The students delivered a speech on this occasion during the assembly. Everyone took a pledge to bring their hand forward to serve the nation. The Principal– Mr. Dheeraj Banati explained the importance of Independence Day and emphasized to follow the duties earnestly so that rights can be enjoyed fully. A number of activities were organized for the students to make the event a special event.
