Jalandhar 26 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Youth Red Cross Society of Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar organized an awareness Compaign regarding Diabetes. Students and the members of Society welcomed Madam Principal Dr. (Mrs.) Ajay Sareen on this occasion. During this compaign the students were made aware of this dreaded disease, which is becoming a great threat to mankind. Posters and Charts depicting the message about this disease and precautions to be taken were displayed. The speech regarding the causes of this disease and preventive measures to be taken was given by Ms. Rajwinder Kaur, Secretary of the Red Cross Society. Principal Madam Ajay Sareen advised the students to bring change in their Life Style and eating habits. They were also advised to pass on this message to their families so that by adopting these preventive measures, they can lead a healthy life. She also encouraged the students to do physical exercise, Yoga and give up junk food. Madam Principal appreciated the efforts done by the students and staff members. On this occasion, Mrs. Deepshikha, Incharge Red Cross Society, Dr. Santosh Khanna and Dr. Arti Sharma were also present.
