Independence Day celebrations at CT Public School

Jalandhar 13 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Independence Day was celebrated in CT Public School to mark the 70th year of freedom from the British rule. On this patriotic occasion, the students showcased a colourful spectacle of India’s vision through their performance. To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, the Chief Guest Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson, CT Group of Institutions) unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the national anthem and expressed the joy of freedom. She advised the students to walk on the path of righteousness and serve the nation. The students of grade I enthralled the audience with their wonderful portrayal of our freedom fighters. Grade II students presented a colourful dance while grade III students sang patriotic songs. There was an Inter-House dance competition in which the students mesmerized the audience with their stupendous performance. In this competition Jasmine House & Lotus House  stood first while Marigold House & Rose House  were the runners up. The participants spellbound the audience with their performance and also energized them with patriotic fervor.
