Jalandhar 20 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Innocent Hearts School, Green Model Town and Cantt. Jandiala Road celebrated Raksha Bandhan festival. A day full of activities was organised on this occasion. An activity “Create Your Own Rakhi” was organised for the students of class VI .The students created beautiful rakhis and conveyed messages for their brothers. The tiny tots of Innokids- The pre Primary wing also celebrated this occasion. The kids sang beautiful songs. A special assembly was conducted where students recited melodious songs. In classes, the teachers explained about the importance of this festival. The kids of INNOKIDS tied the bond of love and affection on each others hands and wished “Happy Rakhi”. Every year we send the rakhis to the soldiers - Our National heroes. The school organises such activities to make the present generation enriched with the Indian culture and values. The Director Principal of the School – Mr. Dheeraj Banati congratulated everyone on this occasion and motivated them to celebrate it with fun and gaiety.
