Jalandhar 20 August (Jaswinder Azad)- The Department of Applied Art of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized a Photography Workshop in association with Sony India. Through the use of Sony Alpha Professional Cameras, the students were introduced to the various techniques involved in effective photography such as the importance of light, composition of colours, equipment handling, shutter, apertine, exposure, and metering. The resource person of the workshop was Mr. Sameer Ashraf, a renowned photographer, who has to his credit numerous documentaries and Ad films such as ‘Incredible India’, ‘Hero Honda’, ‘Airtel’ etc. He gave the students invaluable tips on the art of Digital and Professional Photography. Dr. Sucharita, Principal of the college applauded the efforts of the BFA department in the successful organization of the workshop. She opined that such workshops impart practical skills in the student which are of great significance in this discipline.
