Jalandhar 23 August (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya-The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar has patriotic deep-seated in its roots since pre-independence days, so respecting ‘The Tiranga’ comes naturally to all those who are associated with it. The National Flag Tiranga was honoured by organizing a ‘Tiranga March’ shortly after the Independence Day. Among the chants of ‘Vijayi Vishav Tiranga Pyara’, ‘Vande Mataram’ and ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ around 150 enthusiastic NSS volunteers participated in the march. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi asked the volunteers to become good citizens. She also exhorted them to remained attached to their roots wherever they may go in life. Present on the occasion were Ms. Ashima and Ms. Anupam who are looking after the college N.S.S. Unit.
