Jalandhar 21 September (Jaswinder Azad)- Innocent Hearts College of Education celebrated International Day of Peace on Sept 21, 2016. The student-teachers organised the whole event which mainly focused on achieving peace within ourselves and around us. Video was shown which depicted the harmful effects of war. The student-teachers sang songs, recited self-composed poems and presented speeches which emphasised the importance of World Peace Day. Yoga and meditation was performed by the teachers and students. Principal Dr. Arjinder Singh said that this day of peace is not only for one day but every day we should have positive thoughts and contribute towards world peace.
