Jalandhar 2 September (Jaswinder Azad)- Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- The Heritage Institution, Jalandhar is committed to overall personality development of students. Alongwith academics, in the arena of sports KMV sports women have been providing their mettle for many decades together. The ball badminton team of KMV have been on a winning streak for many years. This year also the ball badminton team has won the inter college tournament. KMV Team defeated the Team of HMV, Jalandhar by 29-6, 29-8 and the team of BBKDAV, Amritsar by 29-2, 29-12. Six players of the team have been selected for All India Inter University Tournament. The names of the players are Kawalpreet, Kuldip, Sumanpreet, Manpreet, Damanpreet and Gurpreet. Principal Prof. Atima Sharma Dwivedi congratulated the winners and appreciated them for keeping aloft the flag of victory for the many past years. She also congratulated the faculty of Department of Physical Education Mrs. Ashoo Bajaj, Ms. Dipika and Ms. Mahdavi for being the guiding force behind the victory. She wished the young sports women a bright future ahead.
