Jalandhar 21 October (Jaswinder Azad)- P.G. Department of commerce & management organised a guest lecture on ‘Rewiring Your Brain’ for Post Graduate classes M.Com & MBEI.T. The resource person for the talk was Dr. Jasneet Kaur, Research Analyst, JPAL, MIT, USA. She was welcomed by Mrs. Alka Sharma, Head, Deptt of commerce & management. The seminar was aimed at giving practical insights as to how mind can be positively directed by focussing an alpha and theta waves of the brain wherein the impossible becomes possible. Students were enlightened on how they can enhance their concentration power and focus in today’s fast changing dynamics. As we all know that despite too much of knowledge, we lack in peaceful living. Dr. Jasneet made students aware regarding how uncomfortable thoughts can be controlled to lead a wonderful life & also what is the concept of ‘Astral Body travel’. She added that negative thoughts cause chronic stress hence changing the structure and function of our brain. Meditation is the only solution that stimulates the formulation of new brain cells and also slows down the aging of brain cells. Overall it was motivational and an inspiring lecture. Mrs. Alka Sharma, Head of Dept honoured Dr. Jasneet by presenting token of love to her. It was a learning of experience for the students.
