Jalandhar 22 October (Jaswinder Azad)- The Departments of Applied Art, Design and Fine Arts of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar organized the Diwali Mela from 21st October to 23rd October 2016. The second day of the Diwali Mela saw great enthusiasm from Jalandharites from all walks of life. There was great appreciation for the jewellery, dresses, paintings, diyas and chocolates made by the students. All the items made by the students are a symbol of our culture and heritage which have a place in our modern day lives. The students accredited the success of this exhibition to Principal Dr. Sucharita and their teachers who helped and guided them throughout.
Principal Dr. Sucharita remarked that the success of such events is very significant for the college and the students as it not only makes the college proud but builds self confidence in the students.
