Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar organized a two day workshop

Jalandhar 15 November (Jaswinder Azad)- The Department of Physiotherapy Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar organized a two day workshop on "Manual Therapy". This workshop was inaugurated by AGK Sinha, Dean Medical faculty and Professor Department of Physiotherapy, Punjabi University, Patiala. He emphasized on the help that manual therapy has provided to various patients suffering from joint pains and spinal problems. Various practitioners who have acquired valuable training from Australia in the field of Manual therapy also actively participated in the workshop. Students of the College Physiotherapy Department interacted with the scholars and learned about basic concepts of manual therapy which has become an integral part of their field. Dr. Jha another eminent personality from the same field also shared his views on the same. Dr Gurpinder Singh Samra, Principal Lyallpur Khalsa College presided over the closing ceremony of the function and emphasized on the importance of Physiotherapy and its branches towards curing modern day ailments. Principal Dr. GS Samra also congratulated Dr Raju Sharma (Head department of Physiotherapy) for organizing such events and encouraging the students for their active learning participation. Students were also honored with participation certificates at the end of the proceedings. 
Among distinguished people present were Prof. Jasreen Kaur, HOD English and College Registrar, Dr. Jaswant Kaur, Dr. Richa Sharma, Dr. Priyank Sharda, Dr. Komaldeep Kaur and Dr. Sukhwinder Singh along with the staff members of the faculty.
