55th National Day of Tanzania celebrated at CT Group of Institutions

Jalandhar 11 December (Jaswinder Azad)- International Students from Tanzania at CT Group of Institutions celebrated 55th Republic of Tanzania by organizing a traditional event at the premises of Shahpur Campus. The students sung their National Song in the presence of High Commissioner Mohammed Hija Mohammed after hosting their National Flag. This was followed by a cultural event, in which more than 100 students participated and performed with full enthusiasm in the festive mode. They performed Traditional dance and also the displayed traditional outfits in the Fashion Show held at the event. The highlight of the event remained the dance performance by the Talent Show Winner Mr. Rajabu Mohammad Saidi. He mesmerized everyone with his fabulous and effortless dance moves.
In the praise for such a graceful event, Mohammed Hija Mohammed High Commissioner of Tanzania Congratulated  Management, Faculty, International department  and Students for inviting on the celebrations of  55th Tanzania Independence Day at CT Group of Institutions. It is a wonderful step to achieve Oneness. Everyone should follow such steps of encouraging and celebrating the traditions of each other. This is an important day when Tanzanians commemorate their nonviolent transition to freedom from the British rule.”
S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) and Dr. PS Bedi (Director Campus, CT Group of Institutions) congratulated the Countrymen on the independence day of their nation.
