Jalandhar 11 December (Jaswinder Azad)- Innocent Hearts Group of Institutions, Loharan campus organized workshop on Effective Teaching. Colonel PS Bajaj delivered a lecture on Effective Teaching. Colonel PS Bajaj is working as a Prof. at IMT Ghaziabad and Director of Distance Learning. Faculty from different department attended the session. In his session Colonel Bajaj put light on various teaching aspects such as role of understanding psychology of students before delivering the lecture in class and need to understand the level of children. It is important to complete the syllabus but more important is improvement in the overall personality of the students. Instead of spoon feeding teachers should focus on case base teaching. He also suggested the teachers to work on overall grooming of student and increase their class participation. He also told that in this competitive world it is important to know English language but it is more important to respect their mother tongue. Colonel bajaj ended the session by saying that we should love students and give them best. Dr.Anup Bowry, Secretary, Bowry Memorial Educational and Medical Trust, further emphasized on the brighter side of these activities for students and gave a vote of thanks to Colonel Bajaj.
